had the most amazing time in portland last week! dana, michael, and i are old college roomates and the best of friends. i have known dana since we were 15 and michael shortly after that. i wish everyone could know them. so full of life and love. so much passion for everything around them. so beautiful inside and out. since we live in different places (michael l.a. – dana  just back from 2 years in the peace corps ) we decided a while back to take a roomie trip every year and i am so glad we stuck to it! chicago one year – la the next –  and now portland. why portland? why not? it was amazing! beautiful weather, the nicest people on earth (my mom says good things come from portland, that is where she was born.. and amazing places to see! we stayed downtown and were able to explore it up!!! we have a way of seeing many things, but always leaving lots of time for chatting, laughing, and being silly. it was just what i needed before the start of a busy, busy, did i mention busy, portrait and wedding season. i laughed until i cried. laughed from my gut (nooooo one can crack a person up like michael) and came back feeling refreshed and ready to go! i am so very thankful for these two amazing people in my life. so thankful to not only call them friends, but my family. my support. my biggest fans. love you roomies. thanks for all your life time of love! cant wait for our next adventure!

I could go on and on about these cuties!!! so very good to me at our session a few weeks back. can’t get over how sweet and adorable they are. i say it everyday and mean it everyday….i love my job! so many sneak peeks to come, stay tuned!

back from a lovely lovely lovely mini vaca to portland. a much needed time with some of my favorite people! too fun!!! getting ready for a busy week filled with fun sessions and TWO weddings! 2010 weding season is for sure in full swing…..Had to share this little love. she is every bit of the heart breaker that she looks. adorable in every way! stay tuned for LOTS of sneak peeks and vaca pics…

The amazing andrea! we had a great time on this shoot. i feel like i say this for every outdoor shoot lately….it was WAY windy out and we were lucky to escape the wind for a bit inside guestroom records. if you have never had the chance to check out this record store on 36th and western – be sure to! great place filled with awesome music and art. love it! graduated with the owner, justin, who is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet. such a fun session – thanks andrea for choosing art and soul! the camera loves you and so do i!

Forgive me as I am on the my baby girl kick the last few posts…Just can’t get enough of that silly girl….auburn and i love our panera dates a few mornings a week and this week she decided that she wanted to wear her tutu to breakfast…Made a stop to get a few photos of her running around and they just melt my heart. i was pleased to get her 3 year pics earlier than i had planned……love you sunflower!

spring is here! april has been filled with fun already….easter was so fun! and auburn loved searching for her basket and coloring eggs. we have been outdoors and planting lots of  flowers, wearing capes, and taking silly pictures. Auburn has decided she wants to stay little stating, “i no want to be three, i stay little and be two” i love how somewhere inside she knows that being a kid is the best! i can’t believe this tiny little girl is almost three. she is pure heaven. one of my recent clients said that when her daughters were young her mother told her…”there is nothing sweeter on earth than a three year old girl” i must agree. sweet baby girl is full of creativity..ENERGY..love..sweetness..stubbornness..and kindness..a little photo combo below of some fun! love the shot of her and dusty…and i have a series of shots that i ADORE of aub with her aunt kimmy. it was a giggle fest!

oh, my goodness…..i just can’t even begin to explain how AMAZING these boys were!!! every little idea i had they were totally up for with the sweetest smiles on their faces! it helped too that mom brought some ADORABLE outfits as well as  cute chairs with her for the session. The Farmers Market was the perfect spot for these brothers and we had the best time! I could have spent all afternoon with these sweeties….Can’t wait for the sunglasses pic BIG on the wall in their home – and the truck pic is already ordered for the walls of the studio Thanks for an amazing time!
