just in time for mothers day – the mommy and me mini’s! this timeless setup is based around classic shots you can display and treasure for a lifetime. the antique rod iron daybed with ruffle white bedding all shot outdoors. we suggest simple and classic clothing. white summer dresses for girls and mom’s and jean or linen pants for boys with white shirts or no shirt. barefoot is also preferred. we will be capturing these the month of may and possibly into june if needed. with this limited mini we are also including something special for all the mom’s. in addition to the cd fully edited with 35-50 images you will also receive our custom luxe frame with photo inside. here is the example of that:

the frame will be a classic black with b&w photo already inside for you when it is shipped to your doorstep. the best photo of your session will be selected for the frame. this is a wonderful custom piece to treasure along with your cd. this price of this mini will be $250. that price includes the fully edited cd, copyright release, 8×10 luxe frame in black and the photo inside. tax and shipping rates are also included so no need to worry about that. since we will be shooting outdoors we will have to shoot during good lighting times and there is always the possibility of reschedule if the weather is not permitting on your session date and time.

I’ve decided to write about our adoption journey on my photography blog simply because I am familiar with the layout and keeping two blogs up proved to be something i just didn’t do things are moving along quite nice in the adoption…..we received the medical report for our little man and he is perfect. We were pleasantly  surprised at how in depth the medical report was….made us very glad he is being looked after so well. small at the time being, but we know once we get him home we can get some chub on him fast. We still are keeping his info offline (no photos, age info, ect.) until we finish court. We just received our adoption decree and now move on to his visa being processed. we are researching travel, starting his nursery, and planning for our family of four auburn talks about him like he is here. shows us how she will hold him and things she will teach him. asks lots of questions about adoption and amazes me everyday with her little heart so pure and loving. she has been getting lots of  ”big sister” practice with her baby cousin JJ who she adores……we continue to send all the love prayers we can to our sweet baby boy…we would love if you sent him some too! thanks for the constant love and support! I am amazed how many are following our journey. each and every client i meet asks about our little man, some even bringing gifts for him! he is so loved by so many and he is not even home yet we love you sweet boy. come home to us soon. soon.

back from an ohhhhh sooooo amazing newborn workshop! it blew my mind!!! and, even though the style of the work was very different from mine, i left with a new understanding of so many things in the world of newborn photography

great time….lovely workshop….now, hurrying home to practice on lots of upcoming newborns!
