{Jordan and Jesse. Senior ‘09}

Friday, October 31, 2008

I had such a blast working with these two adorable Seniors! Jordan and Jesse were so sweet and fun! As you can see, these two are twins (jesse born first by one minute, I learned during our session) and wanted some shots together, as well as some individual shots. We explored Route 66 for most of our session, finding old barns and open fields down dirt roads. We sure were daring, since one of the barn’s looked like it could fall down any second :) Jordan and Jesse, it was such a blast working with you both and getting to know you better! You both have such a bright future ahead – enjoy your sneak peek!!!

Both girls have such beautiful smiles!!

Jump shot at the tracks :)

Had to get a shot with Jesse’s super cute bug!

Love these girls…..

I am soooo behind on blog posts, but wanted to share a few of this BEAUTIFUL couple I worked with earlier in the week. We shot at a wonderful location near Lake Hefner (keeping this spot secret, love it that much) and had a wonderful time! It was so great meeting them both, including their super sweet moms along for the session.  Enjoy your sneak peek Jennifer and Chase! You two are adorable and I can’t wait for Bridal photos, and the WEDDING :)

Jennifer could talk Chase into trying anything :)

We had some amazing light going on!!

I have SO many favorites from our session!!!

Operation Love ReUnited:

Giving back to those who ask nothing more than to come home.

I had the pleasure over the weekend to capture a Love reUnited session. I was contacted by Cheryl months back to capture some photos to send to her deployed husband Steven. During this session I told her about the Love ReUnited program I am a part of. The PROGRAM is for families with a loved ones overseas. They are able to receive a photo session, free of charge, when a loved one returns home from deployment. I was so excited to meet the family and they sure did not let me down! They were full of happiness, smiles, and LOVE! It was so touching to see the love between them all…We explored downtown and the Botanical Gardens for our session, and it was a fast paced adventure! The kiddos led the way and were so adorable…..I had such a blast taking family shots, and individual shots of the family and kids. Thank you so much for you service to our country, Steven. Your service is heroic and appreciated by all. Enjoy your sneak peek and your photo disk will be ready soon!

We became buddies fast and I had a great time capturing their family photos.  I photographed the beautiful wedding of Matt and Larissa a few years back, and was happy to see their growing family and beautiful little boy! I have said it before, but one of my favorite things about my job is seeing families grow. Watching children grow and capturing their young years for parents to treasure. The Cook family is no exception… I have been honored to photograph this family since Ben and Hedi were little bitty, and now they have an adorable little sister, Katie. We explored the Botanical Gardens on this windy morning and had loads of fun! I just adore these kiddos and always look forward to our sessions. They are always up for anything and happy to assist in finding the perfect spots for their photos :) Enjoy your sneak peek Nicole and Shon! Thanks so much for choosing Art and Soul for all your family photos!

Carmen and Ben are so adorable…..I shot there engagement session last Spring and they are still some of my favorites. As I mentioned back on the engagement blog for these two, I graduated collage with Carmen (Go Bronchos!!) and we both we art junkies….I was so excited when she asked me to be a part of her wedding day. The wedding was so BEAUTIFUL! Fall colors everywhere! You know it is going to be an amazing wedding when you show up and the bridesmaids and flower girls are wearing orange dresses and brown converse shoes with them :) Pumpkins for centerpieces, a cake covered with sugar leaves….it was great! There is nothing better about my job than watching children grow. Just over three months ago I captured Little Callie’s newborn photos.  She is a totally different baby girl now!!! She had grown so much, along with her big sister! We explored The Paseo on a very windy day – but we did not let it stop us from getting some super fun shots…..I just adore this family – so much love between the four of them. And, look at those EYES!!!! Have you ever seen cuter sisters? They are so adorable! I look forward to continuing to watch these sisters grow for years to come. Thanks again for choosing Art and Soul for your family photos – you are such a fun family and the session was a blast!!!

Where do I begin…..Little Miss Marin just stole my heart! I met Marin and her beautiful Parents at the Botanical Gardens over the weekend for a mini session. They were in from St. Louis and wanting to squeeze in some family photos while visiting.  We had such a wonderful time and Marin was in the happiest mood – she was full of smiles and laughter! I told Marin’s Mom and Dad that I have not photographed a happier baby in a loooog time….Little Marin is 8 months old – one of the most wonderful ages to capture. They are not quite on the move and have the sweetest smiles with little teeth poking through….It was so great to meet the three of you -hope your visit was wonderful and that the next time the three of you are in town we can meet again for photos.

She was all smiles the whole session!

Such a sweet family!

Thanks so much for a wonderful session! Meeting the three of you was a wonderful way to start the day!!
