cannot begin to share how excited I am for the arrival of this baby girl…..sweet claire will be so surrounded by love, love and more love. I first met erin over 6 years ago when I was fresh out of college and a high school art teacher. she was one of the most talented student’s I had in the 5 years as a teacher. wise beyond her years and so kind and caring. we stayed close even after she moved to ireland to marry her sweet husband, steven. i just love these two so much. waited for the day when they would be parents. shared in the journey of getting there and it feels like yesterday when erin shared the news! me trying like a crazy woman to figure out the country code to call her back. tears down my face as she shared all the details and due date. then, when they found out they were expecting a girl…..it was on…..shopping – shopping and more shopping! gotta love hitting the mall for baby girl clothes.  erin, i am so proud of you everyday! you are going to be an amazing mother. you have always had the soul of a momma and i cannot wait to meet your little hippie baby. i love you so much and thank you for the pleasure of capturing your maternity photos. you are so beautiful and i am so glad you are soaking up every second of your pregnancy…..

I have been capturing little max for quite some time now and he ALWAYS makes me smile! I could not believe how much he had grown! love this little guy!!!!

I was so excited to meet this beautiful family of four! I just could not get over how sweet and fun these boys were. I love hearing what kids are into and these boys were ALL boy! they love WWE and football. We made our way around Bricktown and had a blast! I love so many of the shots we got and am very glad the family liked them as well! Can’t wait to shoot more for this family in the future! Thanks for choosing art and soul!

So excited for the upcoming wedding of these two! after already getting rained out TWICE we were determined to shoot the engagement’s as soon as we could! well, oklahoma weather had another plan…and, about ten minutes into the session it started to pour….and hail….so we took shelter in the basement of the farmers market and found so many fun places to shoot! it was the best!!!! and, when the weather let up a bit these two were even up for some splashing in the rain! so so so much fun. the wedding is going to be  BLAST!

I had the pleasure of meeting this family when they made the trip down from tulsa for their maternity photos. They are so kind and loving and i just fell in love with their son, greg. i knew he would make a great big brother to eric and boy does he!!! it was so sweet to see!! we had a great time at the newborn session and i have so many favorites! eric was a little smiley boy!!!

auburn had her very first ballet class last week! she is the tiny one in the pics it is a three and four year old class and she was so excited to dance! of course, i had the cutest little outfit picked out for her, but she insisted on the pink one..ha! that girl….she hugged her teacher at the end and is already asking like crazy when we go again…..it was too cute!!! still can’t believe she is three and doing these kinds of activities…..sigh….

from start to finish, this couple has been AMAZING to work with! I am so honored to have been a part of their big day! Wendy and Wayne are so in love. so kind. so thoughtful. so in tune with one another. We had a chance to shoot their engagements on a chilly evening in guthrie and get to know each other. I knew the wedding would be so so wonderful, but i had no idea just how wonderful it would be! the funniest wedding party’s. most adorable families. most lovely day…..i was so glad the wendy built in some time between the ceremony and reception for some outdoor shots. we were able to get some nature type shots as well as some urban (my fave and then, the night was full of dancing and fun!!!! dana and I were dying to get ono the dance floor it was so hoppin’! thanks to you both for an amazing day! i wish you a life time of happiness and love!

little jessa was such a sweetie! she fit in the paseo perfect with her bright clothing and big brown eyes! i was loving her matilda jane outfit and could not get over her adoring older sister and brother….they were so in love with little jessa! i love meeting new families and getting to know them. hearing what the children are into, getting to know favorite colors, all the fun stuff capturing kiddo’s brings. these sessions keep me young and on my toes…..gotta wear the running shoes for sessions with a little one 5 years and younger
