I just had the most fun shooting this famliy!!!! I had the pleasure of shooting the Sargeant Family a few months ago, and meeting their adorable little ones – Sophie and Sam. They stole my heart then and nothing changed the second time around! What cuties! We made our way around Will Rogers Park for this session and I was SO GLAD to see that the construction was just about finished. I LOVE Seniors….SO MUCH!!! Meeting Kimberly was so great. She is so full of life! Spirited and fun! We made our way around Will Rogers park on a windy afternoon (there is no escaping the wind in oklahoma :) and had the best time. I loved hearing about all Kim’s plans to attend school in Texas. She has such a bright future ahead. She has such a happy heart. I just adore people who laugh when they smile, and that was soooo her….Made my job a piece of cake! Your gallery is coming soon, kim, but until then – a sneak peek for you and your mom. It was such a pleasure to meet you both!

I had the pleasure of meeting little Gage last week for his one year session in the studio. He was SO SWEET! Can you even believe those big blue eyes?!?! And, that little smile! He gave me more smiles in three minutes than I sometimes get in a whole session…..I was in heaven! His mom brought the cutest little cake for him to dig into, but he was not having it…..Happy first birthday little guy….You stole my heart and I just can’t wait for summer photos :)

Those eyes!!!

Happy guy!!

You know it is going to be a great session when you are greeted with a running hug and a sweet little girl yelling,  ”angel, angel!” That would be my sweet little Alex. I have been so honored to capture her photos since she was just under a year old. She had grown so much, so much taller and smarter every time I see her. We are just the best of pals. I love watching her grow. The session was scheduled because her cousins were in town for a visit. The most adorable twin girls you can imagine! Big brown eyes and adorable smiles! They were a little camera shy at first, but by the end of our session they were all smiles! We made our way around the OU campus and a chilly and WINDY morning, but no weather could stop us – I am so glad to have met the “crying cousins” as Alex very lovingly calls them, and to meet the rest of the family. I love the images below and hope you do as well. p.s. glad to have captured some of the last photos of Alex’s long hair…..I feel your pain, Candace and Billie….Her new cut is BEYOND adorable though :)

LOVE both of these images!

a little camera shy at first….

but, not for long!

During college I nannied for a special family with twin girls. The experience truly helped me understand the unique relationship of twins. Respecting the differences of each child, letting each child be their own….I love capturing siblings – and truly adore capturing the spirit of twins!

Time for a little cheer!!!! They were super pumped about it!!! Can’t you tell? :)

boomer sooner girl!!!

follow the leader!

have I mentioned I just can’t get enough of this little girl???…

after having children nothing feels more weird than to be in a photo without them….But, every once in a while you need a photo like this with just hubby and wife….

sweet hearts…..

a quick side note to candace and Billie…..thanks for always being such a fan and constant supporter of Art and Soul. You and Billie are so wonderful! Love you all!

Wedding season is off and running! I am enjoying every second of it! Wedding days are filled with emotion….Happy brides, teary eyed dad’s, adorable flower girl’s…It is so amazing to capture! Last week, Randy and I made the trip to Duncan to photograph a beautiful evening wedding. Mikala looked so beautiful in the light of the sunset at we began photos. She had the most fun wedding party – these girls were rocking their chocolate brown dresses! So cute!  As always, I fell in love with the flower girl and ring bearer….they were so proud of their roles in the wedding and it made me smile! I am so honored to have captured this amazing day! Complete with a horse and carriage for the bride and groom (great surprise, mom) Enjoy your sneak peek, your gallery is coming soon! Hope the honeymoon was GREAT!

These guys knew how to rock the jump shot!

Such fun wedding parties!

Some sun flare on the laughing bridesmaids!

2009 has been filled with the most wonderful Seniors!!!! Sometimes I just can’t believe how lucky I am to have such great clients! This Senior is from the new South Moore High School and she just amazed me with her spunk, beauty, and amazing spirit! She was up for trying anything during her session and had a smile that was truly contagious! We had a blast exploring the Farmers Market and getting some fun shots! Her family was along for the fun and it was so great to meet them all! We even had a blooper moment (sorry sis, told ya I would have to blog about it) when some how a packet up ketchup was stepped on and shot across the market on to a clean black shirt! You had to be there to witness it all…..It was unlike anything I have ever seen. It was SO WONDERFUL to meet you all! Have an amazing rest of your senior year and enjoy your sneak peek! I can’t wait to hear about Prom Queen – I know you are a shoe in for it!!!!

All smiles! I love it!

She looks stunning in b&w and color….

My heart now belongs to this little guy!!! Max stole my heart at our session. Big blue eyes and the most adorable curly blond hair. Not to mention his mom had him dressed like a little rock star for his photos. I just ADORE the outfits she had picked out for him! Perfect in every way…..Max was not to sure about all the photos going on, and was all serious faces for us for a bit. But, he warmed up and gave me some to die for smiles. I love so many of his proofs, and had to share a few with you all! Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks so much for choosing Art and Soul for Max’s one year photos. He is the most adorable little guy. Meeting you all was a pleasure!

Hope this wonderful couple did not think I forgot about them….I am SO behind on blog posts and have SO many to share with you all! These love-birds just made my day last weekend when we traveled to Guthrie for their engagement session. They are so in love and so adorable. Hugging, snuggling, and not afraid to show the love they have for each other. It was so wonderful to capture! I was glad we got the chance to chat on the drive to Guthrie and even get a soda together :) What a great afternoon! I am so excited for the upcoming wedding!!!! Enjoy your sneak peek, you guys are the best! And, thanks for being so patient for your sneak peek.
