{the roomie adventures!}

had the most amazing time in portland last week! dana, michael, and i are old college roomates and the best of friends. i have known dana since we were 15 and michael shortly after that. i wish everyone could know them. so full of life and love. so much passion for everything around them. so beautiful inside and out. since we live in different places (michael l.a. – dana just back from 2 years in the peace corps ) we decided a while back to take a roomie trip every year and i am so glad we stuck to it! chicago one year – la the next – and now portland. why portland? why not? it was amazing! beautiful weather, the nicest people on earth (my mom says good things come from portland, that is where she was born.. and amazing places to see! we stayed downtown and were able to explore it up!!! we have a way of seeing many things, but always leaving lots of time for chatting, laughing, and being silly. it was just what i needed before the start of a busy, busy, did i mention busy, portrait and wedding season. i laughed until i cried. laughed from my gut (nooooo one can crack a person up like michael) and came back feeling refreshed and ready to go! i am so very thankful for these two amazing people in my life. so thankful to not only call them friends, but my family. my support. my biggest fans. love you roomies. thanks for all your life time of love! cant wait for our next adventure!
