still need to share soooo many amazing weddings from the summer months. june and july are some of the busiest months for wedding photographers and the upcoming fall months are equally busy. I have had the pleasure of working with SO MANY amazing couples this year. jennifer and jeff are two of the sweetest people. I had so much fun getting to know them through engagement and bridal photos. I knew the wedding would be amazing and it truly was. complete with a dove release, amazing weather, and a personal song sung to the bride by her father. we were in tears!!!! thanks for having us along for the amazing wedding!

Your choice of clothing is very important for the photo shoot. Clothing can really make or break a photo shoot. It is important to remember to stay true to your style but also keep in mind what looks good on camera. We are creating art and clothing is a tool to make the art come to life. I recommend wearing clothing that is embellished or that has texture to it. This kind of clothing photographs very well and adds another element besides the subject. Patterns such as polka dots, and layers photograph well. I also recommend color, lots of it! Try to stay away from small floral or pastel colors. White is fine in the studio but I don’t recommend it outside because it will compete with the subject. Accessories like hats, scarves, tights & hair pieces are great for adding texture and really making a photo stand out. little reece just stole my heart. she has such a incredible story and journey in her first year of life. after hearing her story, i had chills and so much respect for this family and their strength. reece is a little fighter! born under two pounds, you would never know now as she flashes her big smile and loves life with her big heart. just could not get enough of her…..her mom, hillary and I had lots in common as her husband is a baseball coach. fun – fun! can’t wait to see this family again and hapy first birthday reece!!!

SO MANY favorites from this day after session! Can I just tell you how much i LOVE day after sessions! relaxed and fun, no worries on rushing to the reception, just lots of laughter and love! these two are some of my favorites….they are high school sweet hearts and beyond in love. we broke out the red sofa (will be used in the holiday mini’s) and these two even JUMPED into the lake!!! those pics will be up super soon! until then, another favorite….

this family was beyond wonderful….!!! we had the BEST time at their family session. jumping on sofa’s, laughing and joking, and getting to know each other. they had the BEST outfits, colorful converse, and best of all AMAZING SMILES!  Can’t wait to dive deeper into the proofs but I am already in love with so many it is tough to choose! thanks so much hibdon family!

the summer mini’s were a HUGE success! We had so much fun capturing the kiddos splash and play along with cooling off with popsicles! My clients are the cutest on earth…..no doubt about it! next up – - – rock and roll mini’s!
