I have had the pleasure of photographing little Ashton since he was in his momma’s belly…..He is SUCH an adorable little guy with tons of personality and charm. I tell you what, this little guy is a ladies man! I am primarily an on location photographer, but with this crazy changing weather we have here in Oklahoma, I also use my studio quite a but. It sure comes in handy for the winter months. And, as much as I love the freedom and endless creativity of the outdoors, there is something about being warm and light control that was nice for this shoot! With temps in the 40’s – outside was not an option for this little guy! I just adore Ashton and his Mom and Dad. Rebecca and I have become great friends since we met and enjoy sharing “mommy” stories. Enjoy your sneak peek and it was great having you in studio!

A VERY long  awaited blog post for Becky and Kurt. I had the honor of capturing their engagement photos and their wedding – super fun! This time of year has me swamped with family sessions on average five per week, but I would never forget about my couples! So, a special thanks to Becky and kurt for you patience as I catch up on blog posts. This wedding was perfect down to the smallest detail – beautiful bouquet  - amazing reception and cake – and most important…..a church filled with love! Had SO Much fun shooting these two pups….One of my favorite things about being a photographer is trying new things. Each and every session is something new and different….It is great to now add pet portraits to my portfolio! Carie and I had such a great time chatting and I loved meeting Boomer and Daisy! They were the sweetest and most expressive dogs. So well trained and wonderful to photograph! REALLY gave me some dog fever! I was so happy to meet up with the Barlow Family last week! I had the pleasure of capturing Little Miss Harper in the spring, and she had grown so much! She is SUCH a doll – making my job a piece of cake with her big blue eyes and adorable smile. She even remembered me and asked her mom if she thought I would bring an umbrella for her to hold again Love it! We made our way around The Paseo for a chilly, but sunny morning session…..I have SO many favorites from this session – especially the last few family shots we got. I told Harper to crack up with a big laugh, and she gave me the most PERFECT expressions! It was PRICELESS! I LOVE SHELBY! We had so much fun on her senior shoot! We explored Western for her shots, and had to make a mad dash to get all the photos we needed while there was still enough light out. Shelby accidently locked her outfit changes in her car….and we had to wait for a spare key. Good thing Western has so super fun shops they we got to check out while waiting Shelby is such a sweet heart – bright future ahead!!! Maybe heading to OBU….Maybe OU….Either place she chooses, she has an amazing future in store! Thanks for choosing Art and Soul, Shelby!

Just LOVE this couple! Such a fun session!!! We shot just North of Lake Hefner and we were able to escape the wind. We timed it just right to catch the sun going down – and were able to get some dreamy snuggle shots. I have SO many favorites from this session and can’t wait to dive deeper into these proofs. I have been a bad blogger the past few weeks….Still trying to catch up on blog posts, since I have been a busy little bee – shooting all over the city the past few weeks Here is Meredith!!! Is she beautiful, or what!!!?? We had such a blast on our shoot. I was so happy to meet Charlie – her adorable Westie. I told my husband that HAS to be our next dog – I am in love with them. Perfect size, Perfect cuteness!!! I just love Meredith – she is one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met!!! I loved meeting her family too, we had some great conversation before and after the session. Enjoy your sneak peek, Meredith! If you EVER need a dog sitter, you better call me

This was SUCH a fun engagement session. I just adore these two…..Up to try anything and more fun than you can imagine! They had scoped out some fun downtown locations for our shoot, and I had to give them big props for the super cool area they found. After our first location, we went over to the Farmers Market for the remainder of the shoot. I have SO many favorites from our session! When I say they were up for anything – I truly mean in….They jumped (willie jumped over haley – check it out below) got on shoulders and even braved a sticker patch…..Love these two and cannot wait for the wedding!!!!

My afternoon session with Carie and Craig had to be cancelled yesterday due to the weather… so when the rain let up for a few moments Auburn, Dusty and I went outside to have some rainy day fun! I swear this little girl just has my heart. As much as I love her big grin -full out smile shots – there is something I love just as much about her serious face photos….She was all about exploring everything wet around her yesterday and had her “thinking” face going on…..A little sponge, soaking up everything around her….

I better wrap this up, sometimes I have to be stopped when it comes to my baby girl. I have lots of clients waiting for sneak peeks, so I better get crackin’! Lots of fun coming up this weekend. Engagement session – Wedding – and I can’t wait for my session with Harper! Lots of posts to come

Happy 1 1/2 year birthday tomorrow little love…..You are our heart!

It is so rewarding to shoot someone you know and love. Someone who you have watched grow for many years now. Cory is AMAZING! Sweet, Kind, Smart, and heading of to take on the world in college next year. I was so excited to capture her senior photos. We headed out to Will Rogers Park last week on a WINDY, warm day….beginning to think the wind is never going to let up…Goodness!! She brought some adorable outfits and her best accessory - her amazing smile! We had so much fun, and I am so happy with the way her photos turned out. I am so proud of you Cory and can’t wait to see the amazing future ahead of you! Enjoy your sneak peek!
