Saturday, November 14, 2009

I am always beyond excited to see this little sweetie! Ella’s mom and dad purchased the 4 sessions within one year plan to fully capture all the growing she is doing. We met up downtown for some holiday photos of the family and some of sweet ella by herself. She is SUCH  a SWEETIE! I was in heaven following her around. I loved that Alexis brought the cutest outfits and the balloons were the perfect touch to the photos. LOVE LOVE LOVED it. Thank you guys for another amazing session! Can’t wait for our next photo adventure!

Peace and Love!

{Clemens Wedding!}

Friday, November 13, 2009

Just LOVED everything about this wedding! From the Bride taking me to a beautiful field and train tracks to shoot before the wedding, to the historic farm house the wedding and reception was held at, to the amazing dance floor they constructed themselves….It was a GREAT day! Made my way up to Stillwater to begin shooting and about GASP out loud when seeing Shannon’s dress – - – It was beyond beautiful. The bouquet was truly one of a kind and I loved the peacock accents the wedding had. From start to finish these two love birds brought so much detail to their day. I just adore these two and feel so honored to have captured their big day! Thank you both for the pleasure! Hope the honeymoon was wonderful and enjoy your sneak peek!!!

Peace and Love!

{50’s inspired engagement session!!!}

Tuesday, November 10, 2009

Wow! Words cannot explain how amazing this session was….I am so stinking excited for the wedding of these two love birds! I knew by the emails and ideas Kim shared with me that she was going for a certain look for her photos and I am so super excited how they came out! We started out at Pop’s in Arcadia and made our way east to hit up even more fun spots! We were so glad to have a nice day, since we were rained out  our first go around at pics. Goodness, Goodness….Can’t get enough of these shots….Anyone out there that wants to try a themed engagement session – or any session for that matter – TOTALLY should! These two ROCKED it! Love you both!

Monday, November 9, 2009

I simply adore my returning families and LOVE meeting new ones as well! The Posey Family was amazing! I was so impressed with how well the girls did! They looked adorable in their tutu’s and colorful outfits! Their talented momma made much of what you see on the girls! So cute! We made the way around the park and we were for real getting a pretty constant drizzle over our heads. We sure did not let it stop the fun and we were able to beat the rain by about a half an hour :) yay! I love so many of the pics from our session! Thanks so much for choosing art and soul for your holiday photos! your family is BEAUTIFUL!

Sweet baby Luke  snuck up on me….. I had just captured his mom’s maternity photos when just a few weeks later I got the call that luke had arrived. I was so very excited to meet this little guy! He was just the sweetest as we shot his newborn photos. I purchased a few new props and hats I was dying to try on the little guy and he modeled them great! I just could not get enough of him, such a sweetie! He is already so loved by so many and it is easy to see why! Look at that face! Congrats on your beautiful Baby Luke!

{where does the time go…..???}

Saturday, November 7, 2009

I have lots and lots of sneak peeks to share with you but had to take a quick second and share a few words of love to my sweet girl She is 2 1/2 bright and early tomorrow morning and since I love birthday’s, I also love half birthdays :) It is amazing what a half a year can do….She is such a big girl. Making me proud each and every day. I am forever grateful to my amazing  family, friends, and clients who gave me the opportunity to now be a full time momma / photographer. I can truly say I have never been happier. One of the most wonderful things about being a photographer is documenting her life. Living the moments again and again through photos. Talk about a girl who is going to have more photo albums than she knows what to do with when she gets older :) There are so many fun things I have not gotten to post about in her first half of year three of her life, so I will take the chance to post some below of our adventures. We were a busy family over the summer!

Auburn Christine….My little Sunflower….You are the sunshine in our life. Thank you for two and a half years of pure joy. I adore you in so many ways….

you….love your baby doll – still take her EVERYWHERE. Bella was the best gift your aunt kimmy could have ever gotten you! You also love your blanket from Aunt Donnell. You MUST have it to sleep and I hear you often say “i lub you blankey..” You love to color and have an obsession with letters and dora. We are teaching you to count in Spanish (making your aunt dana proud) and you have up to five now. The outdoors is your favorite place in the world. You are head over heels for both sets of your adoring grandparents.  You love baseball and sleeping late. You say “lets play soccer” which means lets run around the house like crazy people. You want to be JUST like your cousin Zoe and act like such a big girl around her. You say “momma lets snuggle” and my heart melts. and, even though it came with a little prompting, when asked “who is your best friend” you always say,  ”my momma.”  You love apples and popcorn and think you need them snuggled up to watch a movie with your daddy. You have had so many firsts this year…first time on an airplane, first time at the movie theater, first time at pre-school…..

Alright, I am in tears writing all this and could go on forever. And, as Candace informed me “it’s not bragging, it’s blogging :)

you have become quite the little model and busted this pose out earlier this week….

{Baby’s first year, london!}

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

I love watching the little ones grown in the baby’s first year package! It is such a wonderful way to document the ever-changing first year of a child’s life. It is an amazing way for me to get to know a family and baby better as well. I have  had the pleasure of capturing London’s first year of life and watch her grow into a toddler before my eyes.  Meeting Tiffany while she was still carrying london and seeing what a wonderful mother she would be. This is one beautiful family, and I am happy to not only call them clients, but friends. It is hard to believe how fast they grow…..London at her newborn session……

she slept the ENTIRE session….Never made a peep……Still one of my favorite newborn shots to date! and, london at her six month session, just as cute as can be!

And, now she is a walking – talking – one year old. All over the studio for her one year photos….On a mission to discover and see everything. She is just amazing in every way…..It is impossible to resist those big brown eyes!

thanks so much for sharing your sweet london with art and soul! I look forward to future session!

{farmers market fun!}

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

I just loved this adorable family! one of the best parts of my job is meeting new people. I love getting to know them and finding out what each member of the family is in to. We had the best time making our way around the farmers market and they were all smiles! It was great to capture the love they all share!  the kiddos, forrest, reece, and eli were just as sweet as could be! I just love the shots we got of them goofing around. Candid shots are my very favorite…..brothers and sisters being silly and sweet, can’t beat it! Thanks so much for choosing art and soul for your family photos! I look forward to more in the future!

Peace and Love!
