Art and Soul will be out of the studio July 13th – 17th on family vacation and July 19th – 27th while shooting in Ireland. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I have been having a blast shooting family sessions the past few months! Meeting all the family members, getting to know each group of individual families…..It is the best! I am beyond excited…..so incredibly excited! My dear friend, Tifaney is having a sweet baby girl next month. Tifaney and I met back in college in our ceramics class. We have been friends ever since. She is one of the kindest people you will EVER meet, and she is going to be an AMAZING momma. Tyson is the best too….He is going to be an amazing father – super fun and beyond positive. While at Grand Lake last month we captured a few maternity shots so that Tif can always remember this magical time in her life. Growing a baby girl…Tif and Tyson – Dusty, Auburn and I just adore you both so much…We can’t wait to meet baby Wollert!

Oh, my goodness. Little Tyler stole my heart!  Look at that adorable little smile, gorgeous red hair and big blue eyes!!!! He was such a doll for our session. I could not believe how well Tyler took direction. If I asked him to lay in the grass and smile, he plopped right down for me. I have never seen a toddler do so well!!! I was totally impressed! I love photographing families! I have been capturing lots of extended families over the summer. With vacations to visit love ones, it is a perfect time for family photos! That is exactly what this shoot a few weeks back was all about! Family in from out of town calls for long overdue photos…..We met up at the family farm just outside Edmond and got some super fun shots! When Courtney contacted me to shoot the session, I was so excited. I was just a few weeks shy of shooting her little sister’s wedding. Love getting to know families better. It was such a special evening capturing the wedding of Ryan and Kelly in early June. They are the cutest and most loving couple.  I loved the beautiful setting of the wedding. A perfect evening filled with love and laughter – not to mention some AWESOME dancing !!!! Some of my favorite dancing shots EVER! This shot made me smile. Matron of honor (bride’s big sis) watching the father / daughter dance. Too cute!

Had such a blast capturing the photos of this little guy. Just three years old and such an amazing little athlete!!!! I was in shock at his baseball / football skills! His mom and dad filled me in on how Gray is a sports nut! Loving all things sports…..It sure showed and was beyond adorable! His mom brought some fun props to incorporate into the session that truly showed her little man’s personality! We made our way around Will Rogers Park on a pretty steamy evening. Goodness, need to get the studio all finished up before the weather gets any hotter…..I did not mind the heat though, because Gray had rolling with laughter! he’s three!

Happy fourth to all my wonderful family, friends and clients out there! Hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday! Here is a few of my little firecracker! I photographed an evening wedding, but was so thankful to spend the morning with so many people I love.  

Had the pleasure of capturing these two AMAZING people on their wedding day! I am AMAZED at the love these two share. I have gotten to know them well through engagement and bridal photos and knew the wedding would be fabulous!!! Jennifer was stunning. She is such a delight to be around! So much love shared between her and her family. Chase and his groomsmen had me rolling!!! they were up for anything! Shot the day with my wonderful assistant, Kris, and that explains this extra long blog post combining both of our favorite shots of the day Jennifer and Chase, i just can’t say enough wonderful things  about you. As I was standing at the reception capturing you both out on the dance floor doing the YMCA, I realized that one of the many great things about the to of you is that you have SO MUCH FUN together. Making goofy faces, cracking up, and just soaking up the fun all around you.  You make each other laugh and you for sure made me laugh all day long! Meet little miss sydni! I was so excited to capture her photos, and even more thrilled to find out her session was on the morning of her first birthday! So special to spend the morning with her and her wonderful mom and dad! She was full of sweet smiles and I could not get enough of her little grins! I warmed up fast the morning of our shoot, but sydni was a trooper! I was so great meeting the three of you! Hope the entire birthday was great!
