She is three going on 17 and could not have cracked me up more! She sang me songs and told me stories the entire session. Could not get enough of this little cutie!! The windy day actually worked great  - can’t often say that, but the little gal had some great wind blown hair looks :) It was so nice to meet little lola and catch up with her mom, lindsey. We went to high school together and I loved the chance to reconnect. One of the many things I love about my job is the people I meet – and meet again after many years :)

I just LOVE this little guy! He is full of energy and spirit and is SO MUCH FUN! The family just moved into their new home and it is just beautiful! So much amazing natural light and beautiful rooms…..A photographers dream! Auburn and Reid are in the same pre-school class and Auburn loves to tell me how she sits by Reid at lunch and gives him hugs. She thought it was pretty funny when I was working on reid’s pictures and she ran into the living room to tell me “momma, reid is on your computer!”  I can’t wait for more photos of little reid…..I just love him to pieces….

The studio stays nice and toasty while we shoot away these amazing little ones. I love love love the connections made during these sessions. Newborn shoots for the most part take longer than most sessions, so you really are able to connect and get to know the mom-dad-and little bundle….We talk about everything and exchange lots of “birth” stories :) It is also amazing to see the connections between the new parents and their little one. Such a deep love. Such an amazing time in their lives. Would not trade my job for anything in the world…..Look below to see why….

She is a doll, a photographers dream. I just love her so much. Auburn LOVES her too….After saying her prayers at night she always adds “jesus take care of my baby mia” it is pretty dang cute!! we went to the paseo on a BEAUTIFUL afternoon for some photos of our baby girls. They did so good even though they had missed there naps. Forgot how much I love the Paseo and have missed shooting there all winter! here comes spring!

She was a good little sleeper and loved being nice and warm by the heater. I could have captured her all afternoon  - such a doll! It was so wonderful to meet her loving mom and dad and I am so excited to see lots of this baby girl during the first year of her life. It is always so amazing when parent’s book the baby’s first year plan because I am able to not only capture their little one as they change so so much over the first year of life, but also truly get to know the personality of the little one. Berkley is so sweet and you can already tell she has a very calm and peaceful spirit about her. So excited to watch her grow! Thanks so much brooke and bart for sharing your little love!

They win an award for the best snugglers EVER!! They could really rock the snuggle up shot! We made our way up and down Western and had the BEST time getting to know each other better. I actually shot the wedding of kyle’s older sister, so it was great to see him again – and to see him SO IN LOVE! I am super bummed to not be capturing the wedding of these two cuties…..I was already booked when the contacted me, but am honored that they still gave me the pleasure of capturing their engagement pics! We ended the session at the train tracks that have a very special meaning to these two who love to watch trains. It was super sweet!!! Here are just a few of my faves…..Thanks so much sara and kyle! you two are so amazing and the love you share was beautiful to capture!

Sophia has been walking for a while now, and it can be tough to get this age to sit still very long, so we kept putting her in baskets and on chairs so she could not run from us :) Too cute!  Thanks for sharing your amazing baby girl with art and soul!

Such a snuggle bug, i could fit her into to just about any prop in the studio. I had captured 9 newborn baby boy’s on a row over the past weeks – so I was full of ideas for a baby girl. This sweetie has my heart and i am so excited to have her the entire first year for the baby’s first year photo plan. Lots of ideas for her year of sessions~ can’t wait!
