I was SO VERY excited to meet this little man…..I feel like I already know him through photos but it was so wonderful to meet him in person….Jude is amazing. All boy, all sorts of personality, all kinds of sweetness. His momma, sunny, is a fellow photographer that made the decision to take time off while her three amazing kiddos are young. I am telling you, they are the three cutest kids you will ever see!!!! I can’t wait to capture the entire family. I followed the journey of this family as they went through the adoption process of jude, and my heart was filled with joy as they brought their baby boy home. Such an amazing story……Sunny and I could talk for hours and we always comment on how even though we have only met a few times, we feel like we have known each other for years – keeping up with each other’s blogs all the time :) . We made our way around the studio and got so lucky to have a beautiful morning for our shoot. Jude led the way and could not have stolen my heart any more. Thanks so much for sharing him with art and soul. He is a blessing beyond words……Happy gotcha day!

Peace, Love, and ADOPTION!

I love these two shots…..The shot below has a dream like feel that makes me smile….

I just could not get enough of this little sweetie…..Goodness, look at that baby chub and those sweet eyes….Love!!!! I met little paxton for his one month photos, and his family was just adorable! He has one amazing big brother and two  loving and adoring parents! This little guy sure is loved! paxton wanted nothing to do with sleepy shots, he had too much to see and do – it was so sweet! The family is making the move to texas and will surly be missed by all. I can’t wait to make my way down for more photos of this family. Thanks so much for choosing art and soul for paxton’s photos! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Peace and Love!

oh, just love this little guy!!!

One of the most rewarding sessions I have the pleasure of shooting are celebrating adoption sessions. The sessions includes a free sitting fee and cd of the photos for adoptive parents. Adoption is so very near and dear to my heart. Meet Mary Kate. She is the most wonderful little girl! Stole my heart from the beginning….We were pals from the start! The rain changed our location last second to the Paseo, and it worked out GREAT! Mary climbed all over the walls and was so sweet and kind giving us more smiles than we could have dreamed if. It was such very wonderful meeting Mary Kate and her mom.  I will not soon be forgetting this little sweetie. She put a smile on my face for the rest of the day and I came home ready to pack my bags and start the paper work for a little mary kate of my own. Adoption is such a wonderful thing and I am so blessed to have so many special adopted children fill my life with joy!

Peace and Love….

such a cutie!!!
